The decoupage oyster dish is a gift that gives back for years to come through oyster recycling. For each decoupage oyster sold, Grit & Grace Studio recycles ten oyster shells back to the Charleston, Folly Beach, and Sullivan’s Island waters. This helps restore oyster habitats, rebuild the natural breakwaters against erosion, and enhance local marine habitats. Through the in-house oyster shell recycling program,  to date, Grit & Grace Studio has recycled more than 5,000 gallons of oyster shells back to the Charleston area waters.
